the boy and i were just talking about doughnuts yesterday. i have not had a doughnut since june. can you believe it? clearly, i only ever ate them because they were there. i'm sure i'll be back to eating them when i'm back to work. sigh. i do love a jelly doughnut though.
You know, I don't even remember the last time I had a donut.
These little temptors appeared on a table BESIDE MY CUBICLE at nine AM. They were not from Tim Horton's - they were from the Stittsville Bakery. (ie: Quality.)
I thought if I was strong, they'd be all gone by the time my willpower collapsed. (I eat plenty of "treats" during the day, I do not need a donut on top of it.) Unfortunately, there were more than enough donuts to satisfy the sweet-teeth of our whole floor...
I gave in at approximately 2:12 PM. My cubicle (and keyboard) will never be the same. MUCH juicier than a chain-store donut.
